Chapter Lead

Join the Debt Management Development Tribe to lead a chapter of software engineers through meaningful transformation. You will help people grow while building solutions that make a real difference for customers navigating their debt journey. What you will be doing

As Chapter Lead, you will create an environment where software engineers feel supported, take ownership, and work together to solve meaningful customer and business needs. You will collaborate with product owners, architects, and fellow leaders across Denmark, Lithuania, and India to build a strong chapter community.

• Lead and develop chapter members through regular feedback and individual development plans 
• Create an inclusive environment that supports wellbeing, learning, and knowledge sharing 
• Attract, onboard, and retain skilled people with capabilities for current priorities 
• Be an important member of a squad with a dedicated area of responsibility and delivery / builder focus – doing coding, solution design etc. 
• Communicate priorities clearly and build alignment across teams and locations 
• Contribute actively to the tribe's leadership community with solution-oriented thinking 
• Drive the AI transformation for you chapter and adopt new technologies and ways-of-working 
• Promote engineering excellence through technical mentoring, design and code reviews, automation, continuous delivery and responsible use of AI-assisted development 
• Help modernise existing solutions while maintaining reliability, security and compliance

About you

You are a supportive leader who brings clarity, curiosity, and positive energy. You listen well, communicate openly, and enjoy helping others succeed. You connect people, technology, and customer outcomes with a genuine interest in developing both individuals and ways of working.

• Experience leading or mentoring people, or readiness to move into people leadership 

• You have experience in software development and a sound understanding of software design principles

• Ability to take technical ownership and guide technical decisions 

• Solid understanding of design principles and Java ecosystem knowledge. Experience with Spring and modern cloud application development would be valuable.

• Servant leadership mindset with passion for developing people 

• Collaborative approach that creates momentum and encourages ownership 

• Advanced English language skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders

You will work in a hybrid setup with 3-4 days per week in the office to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing. Monthly salary range from 5760 EUR to 8640 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
