Join Danske Bank and help implement new credit risk models across the bank. You will investigate current processes, regulations, systems and data flows to understand how credit risk models are used today, then translate complex requirements into practical solutions.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be at the centre of implementing new Internal Ratings-Based (IRB) credit models across Danske Bank. You will collaborate with stakeholders globally across Risk, Finance, business units, model development and IT to ensure new Loss Given Default (LGD) models meet regulatory expectations and are implemented successfully.
The LGD Application & Implementation Team is an international team based in Denmark and Lithuania and forms part of a major programme to transform Danske Bank’s credit models. The team is responsible for application, monitoring, implementation of the IRB LGD models and setting the standards and governance processes for IRB Credit Risk Models. We have a number of responsibilities including: facilitating the organisational and IT implementation of new models, updating the monitoring framework, performing regulatory and compliance assessments, updating governance and standards, and facilitating dialogue with regulators and lines of defense.
This role is based in Vilnius, Lithuania, and it does not include a relocation allowance for candidates who are not based in Lithuania.

- Translate model, regulatory and business needs into clear requirements, process changes, system specifications and implementation plans
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions across Risk, Finance, business units and IT teams by resolving different perspectives, documenting decisions and maintaining momentum
- Take ownership of key deliverables through implementation, testing, and business readiness, while managing dependencies and deadlines
- Use SQL, Excel and PowerPoint to analyse data support decisions and communicate complex topics clearly to business and technical audiences
About you
- 3-4 years of experience investigating complex business processes or systems, analysing requirements and translating stakeholder needs into clear, testable solutions while managing dependencies and deadlines
- Relevant higher education qualification in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or Physics or similar
- Experience with credit risk, IRB models or related regulatory requirements (would be valuable but is not essential)
- Confident stakeholder management skills with the ability to facilitate discussions, challenge constructively and communicate effectively
- Analytical, curious and structured approach with strong collaboration skills
- A proactive approach, sound judgement and willingness to take ownership in ambiguous environments and competing priorities
- Advanced written and spoken English skills
