CRM Executive

Hi, we’re Bloom & Wild. We don’t just send flowers. We help our customers to care wildly. Caring wildly is celebrating the little things we all do for each other every day. Not just the big occasions. It’s being there for the highs. Stepping up for the lows.   We care wildly about people and our planet. Which is why we’re so proud to be a certified B Corp™ – committed to making long-term positive change for our community, and the world around us.   Founded in 2013, our mission back then was to make sending and receiving flowers the joy that it should be, by harnessing technology, brand and letterbox delivery. We announced £75 million Series D funding in 2021 and that same year acquired bloomon in The Netherlands and Bergamotte in France. Together, we’ve fulfilled and delivered over 20 million orders (and counting!), making us the largest direct to consumer flower business in Europe.   Now home to a family of 3 beautiful brands, we’re driven by our vision to create the destination for making life a little more thoughtful and beautiful. And we won't stop at flowers and plants. Starting with the Bloom & Wild brand, we're expanding our gifting offering to other categories like cakes, candles and cocktails. This is all part of our ambition to build Europe's #1 direct to consumer gifting destination.    🛠️ CRM & Lifecycle @ Bloom & Wild Group The CRM & Lifecycle team sits within Marketing at Bloom & Wild, responsible for the customer communication journey — from transactional and triggered emails to lifecycle campaigns and subscription comms. Right now the team is navigating a shift toward more technical, complex builds at a time when the business is leaning hard into subscriptions. The team has already embraced AI — a CRM strategy planner, a subscription briefing agent, and an impact-and-error triage tool — and is looking for someone who can both build campaigns hands-on and help extend those AI investments. This is a team that cares wildly about getting the details right in customer-critical communications, thinks deeply about how to automate the repetitive work, and stays open to new ways of working.

⚙️ What you'll be doing:

We're looking for a Technical Senior CRM Associate to backfill a departure and take ownership of the hands-on build work that keeps our customer comms running. You'll report to Libby, our Senior CRM & Lifecycle Manager, and work closely with Rosie Hook, our Email Developer. This is an IC role at Senior Associate level — you'll own your area in your own right, making independent decisions and improvements, while working across teams to get builds live.

Technical Builds

• Build and own complex transactional and triggered email campaigns using HTML, CSS, and Liquid logic, ensuring reliability across customer-critical comms (transactional, subscription, diversions).

• Take ownership of campaign QA — building confidence in customer-critical comms and investigating more sustainable, scalable QA solutions over time.

Data & Segmentation

• Write SQL queries for audience segmentation and data pulls, powering targeted lifecycle campaigns and subscription comms.

• Use AI-assisted SQL drafting and checking to speed up segment pulls and reduce errors.

Cross-Functional & Platform

• Own API trigger documentation in collaboration with Product and Engineering, keeping build logic and integration points clear and current.

• Execute technical changes to the AppsFlyer testing set-up and support deep-linking builds across app and email channels.

• Work closely with Libby on campaign priorities and with Rosie Hook on where technical build work meets platform automation — freeing Libby to focus on strategy and growth, and Rosie Hook to focus on segmentation, personalisation, and AI solutions.

• Support the team through BFCM and Christmas peak periods, when build volume and complexity increase significantly.

• Contribute to the team's knowledge base — documenting build logic, sharing learnings, and helping others level up on technical CRM skills.

✅ You’ll love this role if you…

• A curious, innovative mindset — you love figuring out new tech, testing, learning and trying new things, and often take the initiative to improve them.

• You're excited about problem-solving and love to take a logical and collaborative approach to finding solutions.

• You care about the detail — you're methodical and precise and deliver to a consistently high standard.

• A data-driven decision maker — you love to understand the data and derive insights.

• You love to collaborate, and are at your best when working cross functionally with other teams.

• Hands-on experience building transactional and triggered email campaigns with HTML, CSS, and Liquid logic.

• SQL skills for audience segmentation and data pulls.

• Experience working with CRM/email platforms and API integrations.

These are some of the skills and experience we think will enable success in this role, but please don’t worry if you are missing some of these. We’re committed to building a team made up of different strengths, skills and experiences, so if you’re excited about our values, passionate about what you do and would like to join us in doing things more thoughtfully, we’d love to hear from you.🏡 Belonging @ Bloom & Wild We know that we learn through our differences, and building a diverse team has always been central to creating the best experience for our customers.  We value all backgrounds, perspectives, ideas and experiences, and encourage everyone to share their opinions openly within our caring and inclusive team.  Our champions community actively advances our culture of inclusion and belonging, which is organised around 8 pillars of diversity.
