• Partner with Legal, Tax, Treasury, Corporate Development, FP&A, Financial Reporting, and other teams to assess the accounting implications of significant transactions.
• Review quarterly and annual financial statements, footnote disclosures, and supporting documentation for significant accounting matters.
• Serve as a key technical accounting contact for external auditors and support quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Monitor accounting standards and regulatory developments, assess their impact, and lead implementation when appropriate.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies that promote consistent application of U.S. GAAP.
• Provide guidance on business combinations, consolidation and VIEs, impairment, debt and equity transactions, revenue recognition, leases, stock-based compensation, and foreign currency.
• Support the integration of acquired businesses and international operations from a technical accounting and reporting perspective.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and SOX controls over technical accounting processes.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and training to accounting and finance teams.
• Lead cross-functional accounting projects and strategic or ad hoc initiatives.
• Manage and develop team members, as applicable.
