Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As the Senior Financial Analyst, NAM Indirect Finance, you will play a key role in delivering reliable, consistent, and insight-driven planning and reporting across Indirect SG&A functions and helping mature the FP&A capabilities, process and reporting standards for North America. You will serve as a trusted finance business partner to functional leaders and cost center owners, supporting decision-making through financial insights, performance analysis, and spend transparency. Partnering closely with the North America Commercial team, the North America FP&A team, and the broader global finance organization, you will contribute to making the broader team more effective.
This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
Meet Your Future Team:
The Financial Planning & Analysis team at Arc’teryx is responsible for providing leadership with the information they need to review past performance, understand business trends, and anticipate future profitability and financial position. North America Indirect Finance owns the relationships to support SG&A spend management and transparency with our enabling functions. Through review of historic financials, variance analysis and KPI tracking, NAM Indirect reports on business unit performance, advises on business decisions and provides recommendations for performance improvement.
If you were in the Senior Financial Analyst, NAM Indirect Finance role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Month-End Close and Variance Analysis: Supporting month-end close activities for your aligned SG&A functions, preparing variance analysis, and delivering clear commentary that explains what happened and why.
- Forecast and Budget Support: Owning key components of forecast and budget cycles by preparing templates, consolidating inputs, validating data, challenging assumptions, and ensuring outputs are accurate and delivered on time.
- Standard Reporting: Owning recurring cost center and OPEX reporting for your functional area, ensuring outputs are consistent, reliable, and easy to understand.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Supporting business cases, spend deep dives, scenario modelling, and Senior Manager requests as they arise, bringing analytical rigor and clear communication to every deliverable.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Business Partnering: Building direct working relationships with directors, cost center owners, and functional teams, providing actionable insights and recommendations to business partners based on financial performance, emerging risks and opportunities.
