Stanford University’s Department of Medicine is committed to setting the highest standards for patient care, ground-breaking biomedical research, professional education, teaching, and training. The People team seeks a full-time Human Resources Administrator (HRA), to join our Human Resources (HR) Transactions team in a shared effort to provide the best customer experience for our faculty and staff. The DOM Human Resources unit oversees day-to-day HR services for over 1,900 employees in 16 divisions and a central operations group. We are the first line of contact for employees, supervisors, and leadership within our department. Our HR team is committed to building a culture of improvement, integrity, inclusivity, and community.
The HRA will serve as a resource on human resources policies and procedures for assigned divisions and will support multiple facets of HR-related matters, including recruitment, time and leave administration, onboarding and exit processes, workers’ compensation and disability leaves, academic staff-research appointments (and related employment visa processing), and HCM data entry (hires, job changes, terminations).
The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively and cooperatively in a fast-paced setting that requires the HRA to prioritize tasks to meet various concurrent deadlines. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, both oral and written, be able to think analytically, and have exceptional attention to detail.
This position will be hybrid during the training period, which will require travel to our Palo Alto office a minimum of 2-3 days per week, with the option to come in daily if preferred.
