Contracts & Subcontracts Administrator

Quindar

Quindar builds modern, cloud-native satellite mission operations software with a simple mission: to operate satellites like servers. Our platform replaces fragmented, legacy ground systems with an integrated, automation-driven approach that brings modern software velocity to space operations.

We're a small, fast-moving team with deep aerospace and software roots, energized by big challenges and motivated by the impact we have on real missions in this next chapter of the Space Age. If you want to work with sharp, ambitious people who push boundaries, move quickly, and are excited to take space operations to the next level, Quindar is the place to do it.

About the Role

As a Contracts & Subcontracts Administrator at Quindar, you will support the full lifecycle management of both government and commercial contracts and subcontracts. You’ll work closely with the Contracts Manager and partner with internal teams, customers, partners, and subcontractors to support contract negotiations, proposal activities, compliance, subcontract management, and contractual risk mitigation.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. You’ll have the opportunity to work across a broad range of agreements and transactions while taking ownership of day-to-day contract and subcontract administration.

Your work will help strengthen Quindar’s contracting processes and support scalable growth across both our government and commercial business.

• Manage subcontract administration activities, including preparing and issuing RFPs/RFQs, evaluating subcontractor proposals, negotiating subcontract terms, issuing subcontracts and modifications, managing required flowdowns, and monitoring subcontractor compliance.

• Support proposal activities by coordinating contractual requirements, reviewing solicitation terms, identifying required representations and certifications, and working with internal teams to develop scopes, pricing, and delivery schedules.

• Review and negotiate contract and subcontract terms and modifications, identify areas of contractual risk, and escalate significant issues to the Contracts Manager.

• Review agreements for compliance with applicable FAR/DFARS requirements, customer requirements, company policies, and negotiated terms.

• Maintain complete and organized contract and subcontract files, including agreements, modifications, amendments, correspondence, deliverables, payment schedules, and other contractual documentation.

• Track contractual obligations, deliverables, periods of performance, funding, option periods, and other key milestones.

• Prepare summaries of contract requirements, obligations, status, and risks for internal stakeholders.

• Support contract and subcontract closeout activities.

• Provide day-to-day contractual guidance to program, technical, finance, and business development teams.

• Assist in developing and improving contract administration processes, templates, trackers, and internal procedures as Quindar continues to grow.
