City Manager

Flex is building the AI-native private bank for business owners.
We’re re-architecting the entire financial system for entrepreneurs—from the first dollar a business earns to how that value compounds, moves, and is ultimately spent in real life. Banking, credit, payments, personal finance, and financial operations—rebuilt from the ground up as a single, intelligent system. Flex is the full financial home for ambitious owners.
Since launching publicly in September 2023, Flex has scaled from zero to nine-figure annualized revenue, with a clear path to profitability by late 2026. We move fast, ship relentlessly, and operate with extreme ownership.
Our customers are affluent business owners ($3–$200M in revenue)—the backbone of the economy and one of the most underserved segments in finance. They’re stuck with outdated banks and fragmented tools. We’re replacing all of it. The opportunity is massive: a ~$1T+ revenue market hiding in plain sight. Our ambition is to build a $100B+ company by delivering a product that is fundamentally better—not incrementally improved.
Flex has raised $100M+ in equity and $300M+ in debt.
- Mission-critical problems: We build software that directly controls how money moves at scale.- High bar, low ego: Small teams, exceptional people, real ownership.- Speed over comfort: We prioritize execution, quality, clarity, and results.- Enduring impact: What we’re building will define how a generation of owners runs their businesses.
Team & Locations
We hire exceptional people who want to build hard things and see their work matter immediately. Roles are available in: San Francisco, Miami, New York, and fully remote.
Flex Fuels Ambition.

Hong Kong is one of the most dynamic entrepreneurial hubs in the world, and we're looking for an exceptional leader to build Flex's presence from the ground up. This is not a satellite office role. You will be the face of Flex in Greater China and a foundational hire for our Asia expansion.

What You'll Do

• Acquire and grow a book of middle-market business owners generating $5M to $500M+ in annual revenue across e-commerce, trade, logistics, real estate, and professional services
• Build a local referral and partnership ecosystem spanning accountants, wealth advisors, legal firms, trade associations, and industry groups
• Organize and host exclusive events, dinners, and roundtables that position Flex as the go-to platform for ambitious business owners in Hong Kong
• Become the most connected person in Hong Kong's entrepreneurial community by attending industry gatherings and building genuine relationships with founders and operators
• Work directly with the CEO and executive team to shape Flex's Asia strategy and adapt the GTM playbook for the region
• Provide real-time market intelligence on competitive dynamics, regulatory landscape, and customer needs
• Hire and develop a small local team as the market scales
• Inform product roadmap decisions for international and cross-border features based on what you hear from customers daily

Who You Are

• 7+ years in B2B sales, business development, or relationship management in banking targeting SMBs or middle-market companies, ideally in financial services, fintech, or banking
• Deep roots in Hong Kong's business community with genuine, existing relationships with founders, operators, and the advisors who serve them
• Proven track record of acquiring and retaining high-value business customers
• A natural event organizer and community builder who knows how to fill a room with the right people
• The person who gets invited to every important dinner, every industry panel, every founder gathering in Hong Kong
• Comfortable operating with high autonomy in a fast-moving startup environment
• Fluent in English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a strong plus)
• Intuitive understanding of cross-border commerce, USD banking needs, and the financial complexity middle-market business owners face across Asia
• Familiarity with stablecoins, crypto payments, and digital asset infrastructure is a strong plus
