Job Description:
What’s the role
As a Laboratory Technician, you will perform laboratory testing and analysis to ensure polyethylene products meet quality standards and customer requirements at our manufacturing facility in the United States. You’ll support production by generating accurate and timely analytical data, maintaining laboratory equipment, and following established quality and safety procedures. You will also help investigate quality issues, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure reliable product certification. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that works closely with production, quality, and technical colleagues to deliver safe, high-quality products for our customers.
What you’ll be doing
· Perform routine and non-routine testing of polyethylene products to verify compliance with product specifications and quality standards.
· Document and report laboratory results accurately and in a timely manner.
· Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
· Follow approved analytical methods, laboratory procedures, and safety requirements.
· Monitor product quality data and identify trends or deviations requiring investigation.
· Provide analytical support to help resolve product quality and production issues.
· Maintain a clean, organised, and safe laboratory environment.
· Prepare and standardise laboratory reagents and reference materials.
· Collaborate with production, quality, and technical teams to support operational objectives.
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance laboratory efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.
· Complete testing activities within required production and shipping timelines.
· Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate documentation and demonstrating compliance with quality management systems.
· Comply with ISO 9001 requirements and site quality standards.

Essential Requirements

- Associate degree in a scientific discipline.
