As an Algorithms Software Engineer II, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities – from implementing system-level architecture updates to optimizing low-level code to maximize performance efficiency. This position is for a Software Engineer who has professional experience in the development and implementation of algorithm software for both large-scale HPC environments and highly optimized and performant real-time applications.
What You Will Do

Work alongside scientists (physicists, mathematicians, signal processing experts, and more) to understand algorithm goals and limitations.

Optimize software for performance, including parallel processing and leveraging GPUs and other processing accelerators.

Evolve algorithms originating in Python and MATLAB into optimized C, C++, and CUDA code.

Model and test new algorithms in high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
