This is a great job for someone who 

Have experience handling high-value and/or complex Liability claims and is looking to apply their technical expertise in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You'll enjoy managing challenging Employers' Liability, Public Liability and Product Liability claims, influencing outcomes through strong negotiation skills, and making a real impact on customer and commercial results.

A bit about the job:

• As a Complex Loss Handler within our Major & Complex Claims Liability team, you'll manage a portfolio of high-value and complex liability claims, ensuring great outcomes while effectively controlling indemnity spend. 

• Working alongside a team of experienced technical claims professionals, you'll use your expertise to investigate, negotiate and resolve claims across Employers' Liability, Public Liability and Product Liability, including 3rd party property damage claims.

• You'll play an important role in maintaining technical excellence, supporting risk and governance requirements, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service, efficiency and business performance.

• Through effective claims management and stakeholder engagement, you'll help deliver positive outcomes for customers, brokers and Aviva.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

• Proven experience handling high-value and/or complex Liability claims, including Employers' Liability, Public Liability and Product Liability claims.

• Strong technical knowledge of liability claims handling, policy interpretation and indemnity spend management, experience of 3rd party property damage claims is useful but not essential.

• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships internally and externally.

• Good understanding of the UK insurance market and claims handling best practice, including the management of legal suppliers and external partners.

• Relevant professional qualification (such as ACII) or equivalent claims experience, with a commitment to continuous professional development.

• Starting salary up to £45,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
