In this role, you'll:
Work as part of a team delivering contract administration and payment processing for regional project teams, suppliers and contractors, you'll ensure all transactions comply with NSW Government policy and the Security of Payment Act (SOPA).
This role will see you process contract and panel agreement payments to agreed standards, prepare payment certificates, manage purchase order requests and variations, and maintain accurate data across contract and payment systems. You'll navigate a busy environment where competing priorities and multiple payment claims require strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across various geographical locations.
You will broker relationships and drive compliance across a complex contractual landscape, ensuring timely and accurate processing that supports Transport's operational delivery.

About you
Your strong financial acumen and attention to detail—formed across finance, administration, or contract management roles—will see you excel in processing claims and managing payment schedules whilst overcoming the challenge of balancing competing work priorities. You're recognised as organised and reliable, skilled at data management and systems administration, and experienced in financial compliance, payment processing or contract administration. A Certificate IV in Business, Administration, Finance or Accounting (or equivalent professional experience) is essential.
