Technical Specialist

Job Summary

• Design and develop SAC Planning models including dimensions, hierarchies, and measures
• Build forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning solutions
• Develop and manage data actions and multi-actions in SAC
• Implement planning features such as:
  • Data locking
  • Version management
  • Allocations & spreading
• Create and optimize dashboards, stories, and input forms
• Integrate data from multiple sources (SAP BW, S/4HANA, Datasphere, flat files)
• Perform data modeling and transformation for planning and analytics use cases
• Ensure performance optimization of reports, models, and dashboards
• Troubleshoot issues in SAC environments and resolve performance bottlenecks
• Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Provide end-user training and functional support
• Maintain documentation and follow governance standards

Technical Skills Required

• Strong hands-on experience in:
  • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) – Planning & Analytics
  • SAC Data Modeling (Analytical & Planning Models)
  • Data Actions, Multi Actions, Allocations
  • Story/Dashboard creation and optimization

Key Responsibilities

1. To architect| design and develop (through Team) solution for product/project & sustenance delivery
2. To support as an SME
3. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements
4. To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is an adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and deliver risks are mitigated
5. To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology
6. To review project deliverables.
7. To recommend client value creation initiatives and implement industry best practices (on specific technology/product)
