Te tūranga – The role
As the Talent Coordinator, you will play a key role within the Talent team, providing proactive coordination and high-quality administrative support. You will also contribute to the broader People and Culture directorate by offering assistance and support across a range of activities and initiatives as required
Your key responsibilities will be:
Providing high quality coordination support to team members, including supporting projects and business-as-usual needs.
Proactively managing dedicated team inboxes, providing professional and timely responses to internal and external enquiries.
Managing and maintaining Talent related aspects of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), ensuring Talent records are accurate and up to date.
Arranging pre-employment checks for all new employees and contractors, ensuring these meet our policy and security requirements.
Providing organisation and logistical support for Talent related events and high-volume processes (e.g. Graduate and Intern assessment centres and career fairs).
Updating Talent collateral as required (e.g. templates, guidance documents, external material).
Contributing to the continuous improvement of Talent processes.

You are organised, adaptable, and able to juggle multiple priorities with ease. To succeed in this role, you will bring excellent communication skills and a professional approach, enabling you to develop strong working relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
You will need to have:
Demonstrable experience in a coordination or administration role within a People, Talent, Recruitment, or HR function.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
Experience using HRIS and/or Learning Management Systems, such as Workday, is desirable.
A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to take initiative and support a range of talent and recruitment activities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
