What You’ll Do
As a Senior / Lead Piping Engineer in our Industrial Mechanical group in Brisbane you’ll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.
You will play a key role in designing piping systems, supporting engineers across varied projects, shaping industry best practices, and mentoring the next generation of piping professionals. You will:
Deliver impactful piping engineering solutions for some of Australia's most significant industrial projects.
Take projects from concept through to detailed design, influencing technical direction and delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.
Apply your expertise across piping systems, pipelines, hydraulic analysis and mechanical design to solve complex engineering challenges.
Partner with multidisciplinary teams to deliver fully integrated solutions that balance technical excellence, commercial outcomes and client needs.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement by helping shape engineering standards, processes and industry best practices.
Coach, mentor and inspire emerging engineers, helping build the future capability of our growing Industrial Mechanical team.
What you’ll bring
Relevant Mechanical Engineering qualifications and experience across piping, pipelines, pumped systems, hydraulic analysis or stress engineering.
RPEQ registration (or eligibility to obtain) and a commitment to technical excellence.
A strong background delivering projects within the oil & gas, energy or process sectors.
The ability to oversee, mentor and collaborate with engineers in a multidisciplinary environment.
Working knowledge of key industry standards, codes and engineering best practices.
Experience with CAESAR II, AutoPIPE, NozzlePRO or similar engineering tools.
A track record of delivering high-quality engineering solutions that achieve client and project outcomes.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to influence technical decisions.
