Northern Star Resources currently has an exciting opportunity for an Alternate Underground Manager to join the team at our Carosue Dam Operations, working on an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Mining Engineer looking to take the next step in their career, or for an established Alternate Underground Manager seeking a new challenge within a large-scale underground mining operation.

To thrive in this role, you will need

Experience:
Candidates should have strong technical and leadership experience in large-scale underground mining operations, including contractor management, project delivery and people leadership. They will be decisive leaders with the ability to think critically, influence stakeholders, communicate risk effectively and deliver practical, value-driven outcomes.
Experience across multiple mining methods, mine start-ups and production ramp-ups will be highly regarded.

Qualifications**:
The ideal candidate should hold a Degree in Mining Engineering and a First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency (or the ability to acquire it).
