The Opportunity

As an Associate – Production Finance, you'll be a key business partner supporting Netflix's growing slate of original productions in India.

This is much more than a finance role. You'll work at the intersection of finance, production, and strategy—partnering with internal teams and production companies to help productions make informed financial decisions from development through delivery.

You'll gain exposure to every stage of the production lifecycle while helping ensure our productions are financially sound, operationally efficient, and positioned for success.

What You'll Do

Partner with Productions

• Work closely with production companies, line producers, production accountants, production auditors and internal Netflix teams throughout the lifecycle of a production.

• Build trusted relationships with creative, production, legal, business affairs, tax, accounts payable, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.

• Support production partners by providing guidance on Netflix's financial policies, reporting expectations, and production finance processes.

Drive Financial Excellence

• Review and analyze production budgets, cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts.

• Monitor production spend against approved budgets and identify financial risks, trends, and opportunities early.

• Partner with productions to develop accurate Estimates to Complete (ETCs) and final cost projections.

• Perform variance analysis and communicate meaningful insights that support business decisions.

• Review invoices, funding requests, and production payments for accuracy and compliance.

Deliver Meaningful Insights

• Go beyond validating numbers by identifying cost optimization opportunities and operational efficiencies.
