In this role, you'll:
Support the delivery of infrastructure projects through project coordination, administration, reporting, and operational support.
Prepare, maintain, and coordinate project documentation, reports, meeting papers, and project records.
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and documentation, and provide administrative support to project leaders and team members.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to communicate project updates, address issues, and maintain productive working relationships.
Support the delivery of organisational outcomes by promoting collaboration, customer focus, and a high-performance team culture.
Monitor project plans, milestones, risks, and deliverables to help ensure time, cost, quality, and performance objectives are achieved.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance project processes and work practices.
Work in our office or project site up to five days per week, depending on project needs.

We are seeking a motivated and capable Project Officer to join our Roads & Active Projects team and contribute to the successful delivery of projects that make a real difference to the people of New South Wales.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating multiple priorities, supporting project teams, and building productive relationships with stakeholders. As a Project Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with approved project management frameworks.
The home office for these roles will be Sydney CBD or Parramatta, however roles will be often be based in a Project office with current locations of Mascot, Homebush, Milperra, or Hurstville.
Multiple positions available working both permanent full time and fixed term full time.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

Experience supporting project delivery, project management, program coordination, or business operations with commitment to accountability, and continuous improvement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare professional reports, briefing papers, and project documentation.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Well-developed analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities.
Confidence using contemporary business systems and project management tools.
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
