Prestige Truck Centre Dandenong South is on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our high-performing Service Department. This is a hands-on workshop role where you’ll be diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining medium and heavy vehicles in a professional, well-equipped dealership environment.

What you will be doing:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain medium and heavy vehicles
• Perform servicing, fault finding, and mechanical repairs to manufacturer standards
• Accurately complete job cards and document all work carried out
• Follow warranty repair procedures and dealership processes
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
• Work collaboratively with the team to keep workflow running efficiently
• Adhere to all workplace health and safety requirements

What you need:

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Technician
• Strong mechanical aptitude with solid diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot effectively
• High attention to detail with good written communication
• Team-focused attitude and a strong, reliable work ethic
• Heavy vehicle licence (advantageous, not essential)
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement
