As a Senior Manager Quality Engineering, you’ll take ownership of our enterprise quality engineering practice, leading strategy and execution across testing, release management and environment management.
You’ll work across technology and business teams to deliver reliable, secure and high-performing systems while improving delivery predictability and minimising risk. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll shape frameworks, uplift capability and influence how quality is embedded across the organisation.
You’ll collaborate closely with architecture, cloud, security, risk and service management teams to ensure consistent standards, governance and compliance, while driving continuous improvement using insights and performance metrics.
This role is a permanent opportunity and is based in Brisbane.
• Define and embed the enterprise Quality Engineering strategy, roadmap and maturity targets.
• Lead release management and environment management operating models to drive predictable delivery outcomes.
• Own quality gates and release readiness criteria across platforms and delivery teams.
• Oversee testing practices including automation, non-functional testing and defect prevention.
• Partner with platform, cloud, security and risk teams to ensure alignment to enterprise standards.
• Manage quality and release risk, including dependencies and readiness concerns.
• Drive performance insights and continuous improvement across quality and release outcomes.
• Lead, coach and develop the Quality Engineering community of practice.

• You bring extensive experience leading quality engineering or release practices in complex environments.
• Your background includes influencing stakeholders across multiple delivery teams and platforms.
• You'll have experience defining governance, metrics and continuous improvement frameworks.
• You're confident working within regulated environments aligning to risk, security and compliance requirements.
• You have strong expertise in test strategies, automation frameworks and DevOps practices.
• Your technical acumen spans cloud-based and highly integrated systems.
• You'll demonstrate strong leadership capability to coach and uplift technical teams.
• You’re known for your analytical thinking and ability to solve complex problems creatively.
