What will you be doing?
- Coordinate the engineering activities and the offshore operations for the umbilical pre-commissioning workscope of the projects.
- Develop specific project umbilical pre-commissioning documents including philosophy, procedures. Assist with project schedule and budget forecast
- Review/approval of pre-commissioning subcontractor project specific procedures and equipment spread. Ensure compliance with the required scope of work and specifications.
- Participate in project risk analysis review, constructability review, HIRA sessions, operation readiness review and safety workshops, regarding pre-commissioning activities.
- Overseas travel during engineering and offshore installation phases, as required
What experience would we like you to have?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Naval Architecture or Ocean/Marine Engineering. Master’s degree preferred. Candidate with no degree but with multiple years of experience in this position will be considered
- Candidate should have experience with umbilical pre-commissioning engineering and project offshore execution (hydraulic pressure monitoring and testing, electrical and fiber optic testing)
- Familiar with subsea field environment, P&ID’s, subsea connection systems
- Working in a team and multicultural environment with good communication skills
- Ability to make decisions and interface with Subcontractors
