Platform Engineer

• 5-10 years experience developing, integrating, configuring, and managing platforms, ideally SOAR platforms. This includes monitoring and addressing system performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability challenges.
• Experience developing and deploying infrastructure-as-code and configuration management solutions, such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Puppet, or Ansible, to automate operational tasks and improve platform reliability.
• Experience building and maintain CI/CD pipelines that integrate security controls and support continuous delivery of detection and response capabilities.
• Experience administering containerisation technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes, in production environments.
• Proficient in at least one scripting / programming languages, such as Python or Shell.
• Hands-on expertise in DevOps, incident management, root cause analysis, and production support, preferably working with Linux-based systems.
• Ability to plan and deliver to challenging timelines, managing stakeholder expectations in the process (experience working in an Agile environment desirable).
• Excellent listening and influencing skills, and flexibility to develop strong relationships with a complex set of global stakeholders (from working with users and analysts, to managing vendors).
