Role Purpose
This role provides project leadership within a division engineering group supporting capital projects, facility building and infrastructure repairs, renovations, and process improvement initiatives. Project scope and size will vary from small to large scale based on portfolio needs and business demand. The Project Manager will lead projects through the full lifecycle, from initial planning through project closeout, while following Corning PM processes and procedures. This person will work closely with division and facility leadership, internal cross-functional teams, and external EPCM firms, and must be able to solve technically complex problems related to facility equipment, construction, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver strong project leadership thru the project initiation, planning, implementation and closeout phases
- Develop project scopes, estimates, schedules and AR budget documentation
- Develop and deliver clear and concise project presentations; such as, business case justifications, project financials and project status summaries to leadership
