What you’ll do
As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, based in Gladstone, you’ll contribute to projects and programs that support the future of the Industrial team. You will make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.
You'll provide technical leadership across a diverse portfolio of industrial projects, contributing to the design, integration, and delivery of instrumentation, control, and communication systems that support critical infrastructure and industrial operations. You will:
Oversee the design and delivery of instrumentation, control, and communication systems across complex industrial projects.
Provide trusted technical guidance on I&C system architecture, integration, automation, and best-practice engineering solutions.
Partner with electrical, mechanical, process and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project outcomes.
Support and mentor emerging engineers, fostering technical capability and knowledge sharing.
Contribute to successful project delivery by managing technical quality, schedules, budgets, and project risks.
Build and strengthen client relationships while identifying opportunities to support ongoing growth across our industrial portfolio.
What you’ll bring
Relevant Electrical Engineering qualifications in Electrical Engineering
RPEQ (Electrical) or ITEE equivalent
Significant experience in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on Instrumentation & Control (I&C) systems within industrial environments.
Experience delivering design solutions across industrial, manufacturing, resources, energy, water, or process industries.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships.
A collaborative mindset and the ability to influence outcomes across multidisciplinary teams.
A practical, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to technical excellence.
