You crave exposure to diverse responsibilities and meaningful work.
You're ready to shape the narrative behind one of Transport's most significant transformation programs. Your expertise will help connect people to purpose, build understanding of change, and ensure stakeholders remain informed, engaged and empowered throughout the program journey. Through compelling storytelling and strategic communication, you will help people understand the value of transformation and its positive impact on our customers, communities and the future of transport in NSW.
In this role, you'll:
Provide strategic communications leadership to support the successful delivery of a complex, high-profile Transport program. Working as part of a dedicated Change Management team, you will partner closely with change professionals across the program to align communication and change strategies, ensuring stakeholders receive consistent, timely and meaningful information that supports change readiness, adoption and sustained business outcomes. By integrating communications and change management activities, you will contribute to a coordinated people-focused approach that enables successful transformation delivery.
You will design and deliver integrated communication strategies that align program outcomes with Transport's strategic priorities, ensuring communications are coordinated, engaging and tailored to diverse audiences across the organisation.
You will think beyond individual communication activities, developing compelling narratives that connect program objectives, business outcomes and customer benefits. You will translate complex information into clear, meaningful messages that build awareness, support change and strengthen stakeholder engagement.
Working closely with program leadership, enterprise communications teams and key stakeholders, you will drive communication planning across multiple workstreams, leveraging enterprise channels, frameworks and governance processes to ensure consistency, quality and alignment with organisational standards.
You will provide trusted strategic advice to senior leaders, helping navigate complex issues, competing priorities and evolving program requirements in a fast-paced environment.
A key aspect of the role will be building strong relationships across the program and broader organisation, influencing communication approaches, identifying risks and opportunities, and continuously improving communication effectiveness through reporting, evaluation and data-informed insights.
This is a temporary position until 31/03/2028 based in Macquarie Park.
The role is governed by our hybrid working model, which forms part of the organisation's Flexible Working Arrangements and associated procedures. This includes a combination of required onsite attendance and approved remote working. Occasional travel to project locations may be required depending on business needs.
