What we are looking for
The Charles River Development (CRD) Middle Office Product Team is seeking an experienced Product Owner and corporate actions expert to lead our corporate actions product development team. As the Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining and owning the strategic roadmap for the corporate actions product, and partner with engineering to deliver against it. You will act as a Charles River product expert and help to ensure that our software effectively supports our end users with their corporate actions and broader middle office workflows. You will be a leader in the full software development lifecycle, including managing business analysts within a feature-focused product development team. You will also partner closely with clients and internal teams across sales, relationship management, implementation, and support.

What you are responsible for

Requirements:
10+ years of software development lifecycle experience, specifically Agile development methodologies and familiarity with tools such as Jira
Strong domain in expertise in Corporate Actions, including all event types, market data, election workflows, and processing standards
Experience defining product strategy, managing roadmaps and prioritization, and reliably delivering against plans and commitments
Comfortable working with clients, explaining product capabilities, and understanding complex requirements
Demonstrated ability translating business requirements into comprehensive functional and technical product specification documents
Ability to take a highly organized and detail-oriented approach to the product development lifecycle.
A desire to take an ownership mindset, leadership skills, and a proven track record managing and mentoring business analysts.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders
Advanced writing skills, including the ability to abstract/summarize highly detailed information
Strong analytical skills, including understanding complex data sets and the ability to reconcile conflicting data
Strong technical background, including familiarity with relational database (SQL,Postgres) and knowledge of cloud architecture
Knowledgeable in one or more CRD functional areas and/or State Street Alpha desirable
Education: BS Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or study of Business with an MIS background. MS/MBA is preferable.
Salary Range:
$110,000 - $188,750 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
