This was my first role landing in London. I had to take a huge step backwards in level to secure it because lonodn recruiters had no idea what my skillset was. The project itself was pretty mundane, and fastmarkets seemed to have an approach of hire fast and fire fast.

This was effectively the companies talent ID programme. Not the sort of environment you want to be in if you are a mediocre performer because although you got opportunities to grow and be mentored by the exec team that comes with pressure.

The team and culture here was awesome and I ended up working with a lot of mates. Looking back my expectations for how enjoyable work could be were probably set too high right out the gate from university
This programme is just a worse version of a finance degree or and computerscience degree. outdated methods and awful mock materials
Ultimately not worth the extra years given i never practiced. Law is a skillset not a knowledge base, so the way of thinking was useful
