HR & People Operations

About Amperos

Amperos is healthcare's first AI-native denial management and revenue recovery platform. Our agentic AI works claims end-to-end, from portal follow-ups and payor calls to appeals and medical records, so providers can resolve more denials, recover more revenue, and focus on what matters most: serving patients.

We just closed a $16M Series A led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with continued participation from Uncork Capital and Neo. We're still small, still early, and going after a $260B+ problem that's only getting worse. If you want to work on hard problems that matter, alongside people who care deeply about the mission (and each other), we'd love to meet you.

About the role

We're looking for an HR & People Operations Lead to build and run the people function for our India team. Today our associates, team leads, QA specialists, and managers across the globe are supported by a mix of US leadership and a lot of goodwill. That has worked while we were small, but now we are ready to scale.

This is a ground-up role. You'll own recruiting coordination, offers, onboarding, documentation, compliance, and payroll administration, and you'll build the employee experience layer we don't have yet: structured onboarding, regular engagement touch points, clear leave and conduct policies, and a feedback channel that surfaces problems before they become attrition. You'll be the first person in India that employees go to with an HR question, and the person US leadership relies on to know how the team is actually doing. You'll work closely with our RCM Operations leaders and our People lead in the US.

What You'll Do

• Recruiting & offers

  • Partner with hiring managers to define roles and coordinate sourcing, screening, and interview scheduling

  • Run background checks, prepare and send offer letters, and handle candidate negotiations within approved bands

  • Track pipeline and hiring tickets and keep hiring documentation complete

• Onboarding

  • Own the end-to-end new hire experience from offer acceptance through the first 90 days, and make sure no one starts without access, equipment, or a clear plan

  • Coordinate access provisioning and confirm HIPAA, data security, and acceptable use training is complete

  • Collect and maintain employee documentation and build records in our platform
