KAYAK, part of Booking Holdings (NASDAQ: BKNG), is the world’s leading travel search engine. With billions of queries across our platforms, we help people find their perfect flight, stay, rental car and vacation package. We’re also transforming business travel with a new corporate travel solution, KAYAK for Business.
As an employee of KAYAK, you will be part of a travel company that operates a portfolio of global metasearch brands including momondo, Cheapflights and HotelsCombined, among others. From start-up to industry leader, innovation is in our DNA and every employee has an opportunity to make their mark. Our focus is on building the best travel search engine to make it easier for everyone to experience the world.
At KAYAK, data is how we make better decisions for travelers and partners alike — and the Commercial Analytics team is at the center of that work. As an Analyst on this globally distributed team, you'll help turn commercial data into clear, actionable insights that directly support revenue decisions across flights, hotels, cars, and advertising, working closely with colleagues across North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific.
This role will be required to work from our Cambridge, MA office at least 3 days per week.
In this role, you will:
-
Analyze commercial datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and performance drivers across travel verticals including flights, hotels, cars, and advertising
-
Build and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization and reporting tools to give commercial teams timely visibility into business performance
-
Respond to ad-hoc data and analysis requests from commercial teams
-
Monitor data accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and maintain reporting reliability across existing data sources
-
Define and document key performance indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with commercial teams, and build models to support forecasting and goal-setting
-
Collaborate with data engineering and business intelligence colleagues to ensure data quality and translate commercial reporting needs into technical requirements
-
Contribute to global analytics projects such as inventory forecasting, partner-facing reporting tools, and the development of AI-assisted analytics solutions
-
Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior commercial leaders.
Please apply if you have:
-
At least 2 years of experience working with data in an analytical, business intelligence, operations, or similar role — we value demonstrated ability and transferable skills; equivalent experience, training, or self-directed learning is considered
