GTM Strategy Manager

Our Mission and Opportunity

Early education is one of the most important determinants of childhood outcomes, a critical support for working families, and a $175B market that remains underserved by modern technology. Brightwheel is the largest, fastest growing, and most loved platform in early ed, trusted by millions of educators and families every day. We are a three-time Cloud 100 company, backed by top investors including Addition, Bessemer, Emerson Collective, Lowercase Capital, Notable Capital, and Mark Cuban.

Our Team

Our team is passionate, talented, and customer-focused. We embody our Leadership Principles in our work and culture. We are a distributed team with remote employees across every US time zone, as well as select offices in the US and internationally.

What You'll Do

• Independently lead multiple high-complexity, cross-functional GTM initiatives that drive acquisition, adoption, expansion, and retention across brightwheel's Education products.

• Roll out new products and go-to-market motions for the Education business, owning the strategy end-to-end — from initial diagnosis and audience/positioning through channel strategy, sales enablement, launch, and measurement.

• Partner with Sales and Sales Enablement to build the messaging, training, and resources that help reps effectively position and sell Education products.

• Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, promotions, events, lifecycle programs, and ecommerce initiatives that support Education revenue goals.

• Independently scope and run quantitative and qualitative analyses to diagnose business problems, evaluate opportunities, and build business cases with Finance and Analytics.

• Establish operating rhythms, metrics, and systems — including AI-driven automation — that improve accountability and turn one-off wins into repeatable processes.

• Communicate progress, insights, and recommendations clearly to working teams, senior leaders, and executive stakeholders.

What You've Done

• Led multiple complex, ambiguous, cross-functional GTM, growth, or business operations initiatives from strategy through execution and measurement.

• Independently determined how to achieve a defined business goal with limited instruction or supervision, and delivered a measurable result.

• Built and executed programs that drove real improvements in revenue, conversion, acquisition, adoption, expansion, or retention.

• Used quantitative and qualitative insight to structure a complex problem and land on a sound strategic recommendation.

• Influenced stakeholders across multiple functions and levels — sales, finance, marketing, ops — without relying on direct authority.

• Incorporated AI tools into how you work, not just to move faster personally but to build a more repeatable process for your team or function.

What Sets You Apart

• A track record of taking an initiative from a rough idea to a launched, measured program — more than once — with real incremental revenue, customers, or adoption to show for it.

• Experience standing up a new motion, program, or playbook within a growing team — rather than only optimizing something already established.

• A demonstrated habit of using AI to automate a recurring workflow out of your own hands — not just to work faster, but to make a process run without you.

• The range to go from a working session with a sales rep to a strategy conversation with an executive in the same day, adjusting your communication style each time.
