Safety & Security: Enforce all company safety protocols, procedures, and material handling policies. Conduct daily safety briefings and ensure the secure handling and storage of all materials and finished goods.
Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the receiving or shipping process. Implement and sustain continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodology (e.g., 5S, error-proofing) to enhance throughput and quality.
Required Experience & Qualifications
4 to 6 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a formal supervisory or team lead capacity.
Direct experience in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics center. Familiarity with managing the handling and documentation for high-value electronic components is required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
Strong practical experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and transaction processing in ERP/MRP systems.
Solid understanding of dock operations (shipping/receiving), material handling best practices, and basic import/export documentation requirements (e.g., Incoterms, HTS codes).
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and train operational staff in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
