Key Account Manager

At Ambius, our business is grounded in scientific research that proves the powerful benefits of plants in indoor environments. Interior plantscaping is more than just greenery — it’s about creating inspiring spaces that enhance health, wellbeing, and productivity through improved indoor air quality.

Our talented Ambius team brings some of Australia’s most impressive green installations to life — from striking Green Walls in hotel lobbies to curated plant designs in shopping centres, offices, and reception spaces. We partner with organisations of all sizes to deliver interior landscaping solutions that engage people, elevate spaces, and help businesses thrive.

Due to continued growth, we’re excited to offer a newly created role for an experienced Key Account Manager to join our high-performing Ambius Sydney team. This is a dynamic, fast-paced position that blends large-scale project delivery with strategic account management and long-term client retention.

Based out of our Sydney branch, you’ll manage an established portfolio of key accounts while also working closely on major project installations, ensuring exceptional outcomes from concept through to completion. You’ll play a critical role in driving revenue growth, strengthening client partnerships, and identifying opportunities to expand services across existing accounts.

If you’re commercially driven, relationship-focused, and thrive in a growing business where no two days are the same — we’d love to hear from you.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and servicing an existing client portfolio, with a strong focus on account retention  and growth
• Overseeing and supporting large-scale interior landscaping projects, collaborating with external and internal operations and design teams
• Identifying client needs and opportunities to increase sales through tailored solutions
• Developing and maintaining strong strategic relationships within major accounts
• Preparing customer-focused proposals, including product, service, and cost options
• Acting as the first point of contact for client enquiries, resolving issues promptly and escalating when required
• Maintaining accurate customer records across company systems
• Monitoring competitor activity and market trends, providing insights to management

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Proven experience in B2B Account Management, ideally within a service-based industry
• The ability to manage a sales territory and prioritise a diverse client base
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• High levels of self-motivation with the ability to work autonomously
• Excellent time management and multitasking capabilities
• Clear, confident communication skills (written and verbal)
• Solid computer proficiency and CRM experience
• The drive to succeed in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment

You’ll be welcomed into a friendly, supportive, and high-energy team that’s focused on success and growth. We provide:

• Full product training and ongoing support from our Operations and Sales leadership
• Competitive base salary with uncapped commission
• Company vehicle, mobile phone, laptop, and tablet
• Career development opportunities within a growing business

The successful candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen, and background checks.
