About Marathon Talent
Marathon Talent is a talent solutions and executive search company focused on connecting high-growth companies with exceptional talent. We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team and help us accelerate our client acquisition efforts.
The Role
We are looking for a high-energy, highly commercial SDR who thrives on prospecting, building relationships, and creating new business opportunities.
Your main goal will be simple: generate qualified opportunities and consistently book meetings for our team.
This is a role for someone who is persistent, proactive, competitive, and genuinely enjoys sales. We are looking for someone who doesn’t stop after a few “no’s” — someone who keeps prospecting, follows up, experiments with different approaches, and consistently looks for the next opportunity.
What You’ll Do
• Identify and research potential clients and decision-makers across relevant industries.
• Build and manage prospect lists using LinkedIn, email, and other outbound channels.
• Execute high-volume, personalized outbound campaigns.
• Cold call and engage prospects through email, LinkedIn, and other communication channels.
• Qualify leads and identify potential business opportunities.
• Consistently book qualified meetings for Nashla and Leon.
• Follow up persistently with prospects to maximize conversion.
• Develop creative and effective approaches to generate new conversations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospecting activity in our CRM.
• Track outreach performance and continuously optimize your approach.
• Collaborate with the team to refine messaging, target accounts, and sales strategies.
Requirements
Previous experience as an SDR, BDR, Business Development Representative, Sales Representative, or similar commercial role.
• Experience selling or prospecting for software/SaaS, professional services, consulting, recruitment, headhunting, or other B2B services.
• Strong English communication skills — you will interact with international prospects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong commercial mindset and genuine interest in sales.
• Comfortable with cold outreach and speaking with decision-makers.
• Highly proactive, organized, and self-motivated.
• Strong follow-up skills and persistence.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
• Results-oriented and motivated by targets and measurable outcomes.
