Head of Lifecycle Marketing

WHO WE ARE 🌍

Creating content that resonates is great — turning that attention into growth is even better. That's what Manychat does.

Our AI-powered automations help creators and brands engage with audiences across Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and TikTok — at the right moment, with the right message, minus the manual work.

We're 400+ people across three continents behind the leading platform for conversational growth, with AI skills shaping how we build, how we work, and how we grow.

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 🌟

**We're seeking a Head of Lifecycle Marketing to own the entire customer journey from first touch to loyal advocate. You'll design and run the lifecycle engine that turns signups into activated users, free users into paying customers, and customers into long-term fans.

You will report to our VP of Growth Marketing and collaborate cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Product, Creative, Engineering, Analytics, and Content to build lifecycle programs that support our GTM motion and drive activation, conversion, retention, and expansion at scale.

YOUR FUTURE TEAMMATES 👋

Meet the Marketing team:

We're the voice of Manychat. A voice that's loud, creative, opinionated, and weird in the best possible way. We combine passion, data, and storytelling to cut through the noise and fuel mad growth.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 🚀

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle strategy - onboarding, activation, free-to-paid conversion, engagement, retention, churn prevention, win-back, and expansion that is aligned with business objectives and audience segments.

• Build and orchestrate automated programs across email, in-product messaging, push, and chat channels, delivering the right message to the right user at the right moment.

• Design a segmentation and personalization framework based on user behavior, product usage, and audience type.

• Run a rigorous experimentation program: hypothesize, A/B test, measure, iterate. Every campaign should teach us something.

• Partner with Product Marketing and Product on launches, promotions, and feature-adoption campaigns; partner with Analytics to build the measurement infrastructure lifecycle deserves.

• Establish KPIs across the funnel (activation rate, trial conversion, retention curves, LTV, reactivation), report on performance, and translate insights into action.

• Own the lifecycle tech stack and continuously improve tooling and processes.

• Hire, lead, and develop a team of lifecycle marketers, setting a high bar for craft and speed.

• Stay ahead of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies (including AI-driven personalization) to keep our lifecycle engine world-class.

TO SHINE IN THIS ROLE 💥

You’ll need:

• 8+ years in lifecycle, CRM, or marketing automation ideally in product-led growth companies with a proven track record of moving activation, conversion, and retention metrics.

• Deep hands-on experience with a modern marketing automation platform (e.g., Braze, Iterable, Customer.io, HubSpot) and an understanding of deliverability, data flows, and event-based triggering.

• Strong analytical skills: you're fluent in funnel analysis, cohort retention, and experiment design, and comfortable in analytics tools.

• Experience leading and growing a team, with the communication skills to influence stakeholders at every level.

• Excellent project management: you prioritize ruthlessly, manage timelines, and deliver in a fast-paced environment.

• A creative, customer-obsessed mindset! You sweat the copy and the segmentation logic equally.

• Bonus: familiarity with the creator economy, chat marketing, or freemium business models.

WHAT WE OFFER 🤗

We care deeply about your growth, well-being, and comfort:

• 📚Professional development budget for conference tickets, online courses, and other relevant resources to help you grow.

• 💙 Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents.

• 🪴 Hybrid work and generous, flexible time off — planned with your team, not rationed by a rigid quota.

• 🌎 Work from where you need to — agreed with your team, not tied to a desk. Flexibility we built in on purpose, because location shouldn't get in the way of great work.

• 🍽️ In-office perks, including free meals and snacks.

• 🤝 Company-funded sport activities, annual offsites and team-building events.

• 🤖 AI isn't a perk here — it's how we work. Claude, OpenAI, and more are on by default from day one, and we back teams in adopting whatever makes them faster.
