We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Digital Marketing Specialist to translate business and customer objectives into effective channel strategies, high-performing campaigns and continuous optimisation. Reporting to the Manager, Digital Marketing Growth, you’ll manage SEM investment, measurement and platform activity across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, helping us achieve our CPA, conversion, growth and profitability targets.

Working across brand, website, product and analytics teams, as well as with external partners, you’ll connect media performance to the complete customer journey, from search and quote through to purchase. You’ll also help guide our adoption of emerging platform capabilities and AI-driven solutions.

More specifically, you will

• Lead the day-to-day, in-platform delivery of paid search media, aligned with business objectives and brand requirements
• Build and manage search campaign structures, bidding strategies and bid adjustments based on best practice and commercial priorities
• Manage budgets and pacing across performance media programs
• Forecast investment and recommend reallocations to maximise return
• Regularly audit paid search accounts to identify opportunities, challenge assumptions and drive continuous optimisation
• Oversee all search account optimisation activity
• Translate performance data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders
• Manage weekly and monthly paid search reporting, providing meaningful insights to inform future opportunities and optimisation
• Stay ahead of platform developments and AI-driven features, determining how new capabilities should be adopted
• Collaborate with external partners to deliver against the broader channel strategy

What you’ll bring

• At least four years’ hands-on experience building, managing and optimising paid search accounts in Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising
• Strong in-platform knowledge of paid search bidding strategies, account structures, audiences and campaign types
• The ability to diagnose performance issues at a granular level
• Experience planning and optimising paid search campaigns across keywords, audiences, creative, bidding and landing pages
• A demonstrated track record of managing significant budgets and pacing investment against performance targets
• Strong working knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking
• A sound understanding of privacy, consent, brand safety and governance considerations relevant to digital media in a regulated environment
• A performance-focused mindset combined with a strong appreciation of brand and customer experience
• Insurance, financial services or other regulated-category experience will be highly regarded
• Agency or consultancy experience will be advantageous
