Human Resources Business Partner

It's more than a job

As part of the HR team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will help build careers, nurture talent, and empower people to succeed. Your work doesn’t stop at HR - it drives the entire supply chain forward. By attracting and developing the right people, you ensure that our operations run smoothly, so medical equipment reaches hospitals on time, toys arrive in stores for the holidays, and fresh flowers make it to local florists. Every great logistics solution starts with great people - and that’s where you come in.

‎

At Kuehne+Nagel, we are looking for a proactive and people-focused HR professional who is passionate about partnering with the business to drive organizational success. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, helping to shape a high-performing, engaging, and compliant workplace while supporting key strategic and operational HR initiatives.

How you create impact

• Act as the strategic HR partner for the assigned business unit, aligning people initiatives with business objectives and operational priorities.
• Advise and support managers on employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
• Drive workforce planning activities, including headcount management, organizational design, and succession planning.
• Lead and support key HR processes such as talent reviews, performance cycles, employee development, and engagement initiatives.
• Manage complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes, conflict resolution, and employee exits, ensuring compliance with labor legislation and company policies.
• Partner with HR Centers of Expertise to implement HR programs, compensation initiatives, and change management projects.
• Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends, provide insights, and support business decision-making.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment while supporting employee engagement, culture, and organizational change initiatives.

What we would like you to bring

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Law, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist within a fast-paced and operationally driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, labor law, performance management, and HR best practices.
• Experience working with trade unions and employee representative bodies, including participation in negotiations and consultations.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting HR data and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Fluent Italian, English is a plus.

By joining the Kuehne+Nagel team, you will have the opportunity to work in a safe and stable environment, with a strong focus on physical and mental well-being. We offer professional growth and development opportunities, including at an international level.
