About the role
As a Senior Developer, you will play a key role in analysing, designing, developing, debugging and enhancing software applications across local, networked, cloud-based and Internet environments. You will help ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards while providing technical guidance, contributing to continuous improvement, and collaborating with customers and stakeholders.
What you will do
• Analyse, design, develop, debug and modify software applications and ensure solutions achieve intended business requirements.
• Take an active role in code reviews, resolve defects and address gaps or ambiguities in functional and technical designs to maintain high standards of software quality.
• Work with Project Leads, customers and business owners to provide technical thought leadership, identify potential improvements and contribute to continuous improvement. • Complete and review implementation plans, technical documentation and procedures for the installation and ongoing maintenance of systems.
• Monitor system performance and availability, install and test new or modified software, and analyse and resolve operating system and application issues.
• Provide technical guidance to team members, contribute to design, estimation and planning activities, and effectively communicate progress, risks and solutions to relevant stakeholders.
What you will bring
Must haves
· 5+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering and supporting production-grade applications.
· Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages and ecosystems such as C#, .NET, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go, or similar.
· Experience designing and building scalable, maintainable, and secure software solutions using modern architectural patterns and engineering practices.
· Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar) to improve productivity, code quality, documentation, testing, and delivery outcomes.
· Experience working with cloud platforms and services such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
