We are seeking an experienced SEO Manager to join a high-performing digital marketing team and play a critical role in maintaining and improving the technical health and organic search performance of large-scale websites. This is for the 2nd largest website in the Houston market with more than a million page views and high demand traffic flow. This role will focus on comprehensive technical SEO across six core areas: crawl-ability and indexing, site speed and performance, canonicalization, internationalization, localization, and structured data. The Technical SEO Manager will identify opportunities and issues, prioritize technical improvements, support implementation, and proactively monitor website health. The ideal candidate is highly analytical and detail-oriented, with strong technical SEO expertise and the ability to collaborate effectively with product, engineering, development, content, and marketing teams. This person will help ensure SEO is incorporated into the website development lifecycle and that technical enhancements are implemented accurately and consistently. This is a hybrid role located in Houston, Texas in the Allen Parkway Corridor. All qualified candidates must live in the Houston area and be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship or visa transfers. Please note that we do not work C2C.

- Lead technical SEO initiatives by identifying, prioritizing, and resolving issues related to crawlability, indexing, rendering, site performance, and content quality.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and develop actionable recommendations to improve organic search visibility and website health.
- Monitor and optimize Core Web Vitals, XML sitemaps, duplicate content, canonicalization, redirects, internal linking, and other technical SEO factors.
- Partner with product, IT, and development teams to define SEO requirements and support implementation throughout the development lifecycle.
- Perform QA testing to ensure metadata, structured data, redirects, internal linking, and international/local SEO configurations are implemented correctly.
- Manage and prioritize the technical SEO backlog, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, track implementation, and document completed enhancements.
