Media Project Manager

At the heart of everything we do is our vision to change lives every day, and our mission to grow The National Lottery responsibly and champion its impact.

We are Allwyn UK, part of the Allwyn Entertainment Group – a multi-national lottery operator with a market-leading presence across the USA (Michigan and Illinois) and Europe, including Czech Republic, Austria, Greece, Cyprus and Italy.

While the main contribution of The National Lottery to society is through the funds to good causes, at Allwyn we put our purpose and values at the heart of everything we do.  Join us as we embark on a once-in-a-lifetime, largescale transformation journey by creating a National Lottery that delivers more money to good causes.

We’ll talk a bit more about us further down the page, but for now – let’s talk about the role and who we’re looking for…

A bit about the role

We’re looking for a Media Project Manager to lead the delivery of key media initiatives within the Allwyn UK Media team. Acting as the central point of coordination across Media Strategy, Channel Activation, Partnerships, Influencers, tech teams, and external agencies, you will ensure media projects are clearly scoped, well‑governed, and delivered on time. This role bridges strategy and execution and requires a pragmatic, flexible approach, bringing the right level of structure to a fast‑moving media environment.

You’ll play a critical role in advancing our media capabilities and ensuring we continue to deliver best‑in‑class, responsible advertising.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of media projects, owning timelines, milestones, and outputs across multiple workstreams.
• Take ownership of priority media initiatives, including:

o   Attention and advanced media measurement projects

o   Dynamic Creative Optimisation (DCO) and automation rollouts

o   First‑party data and CRM integration into media workflows

o   Media contracts, scopes of work (SOWs), and agency governance

• Act as the operational heartbeat of the team by tracking progress, identifying risks, and proactively solving problems to keep projects moving forward.
• Drive innovation by owning key projects and new media initiatives, ensuring we are constantly advancing our capabilities.
• Implement and iterate processes that improve efficiency and build a collaborative way of working across the entire media ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain operational reporting, including Scopes of Work (SOWs) and resource planning templates.
• Own operational trackers, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates for leadership.
• Manage ongoing communications with external partners and agencies, overseeing workstream reviews and documentation.
• Coordinate and manage cross-functional stakeholders, making tactical decisions throughout the process in-line with broader media experience and knowledge.

What experience we’re looking for…

• Proven experience in Media Project Management with understanding of the end-to-end media campaign lifecycle across all major channels.
• Experience managing the delivery of high-profile, multi-channel media operations - ideally within a fast-moving consumer brand or agency environment.
• Proven track record of working with external media agencies and third-party vendors, ensuring they are held accountable to deliverables.
• Highly organised and comfortable being the central point of contact. Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, at pace.
• Demonstrable experience on owning project challenges and finding creative solutions to keep projects moving.
• Experience managing project-based budgets, including the management of purchase orders, estimates, and invoice approvals.
• Data-driven mindset and are comfortable using reporting dashboards and performance trackers to inform decision-making and report progress to leadership
• Confident communicator who can influence senior stakeholders and keep internal teams energised and aligned.
• Knowledge of regulatory environment for advertising and influencer content in the UK (ASA, Advertising Codes etc.).

Key Measures of Success:

• Delivery of Media projects and initiatives on-time with proactive risk mitigation.
• Establish end-to-end processes and ways of working with Media Strategy, Channels, and Social, resulting in clear accountability and seamless cross-functional delivery.

About us

At Allwyn, we are dedicated to changing lives and growing the National Lottery responsibly, championing its positive impact on people, places, and the planet.

• Innovation - We pride ourselves on it! We’re constantly looking for new ways to excite our customers, bringing new products to market to enjoy which is all supported by our responsible play values and making them accessible to all.

• Giving back – Did you know that playing the lottery generates around £30m a week for charities and good causes in the UK? Our aim is to have doubled this number by the end of the first 10-year license.

• Sustainability – Our aim is to become a net zero national lottery. We have 2030 targets to decarbonise our operations and energy. We’ve already transitioned to renewable energy providers, made our London and Watford offices zero gas, and ensured our fleet consists of low-emission vehicles. In addition, we’re working with our value chain partners to develop a net zero target date.

• Empowering every voice – We believe in creating a culture where everyone feels they belong, can be themselves, has access to opportunities and can thrive for the benefit of good causes.  Our diverse teams are working hard to make all parts of The National Lottery inclusive – whether people play a game in a store or online, because when everyone can play, everyone wins..
