About the Role
This is a high-impact, hands-on role for an ambitious Financial Controller ready to own accounting and financial control across our global business. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will oversee day-to-day accounting operations within a lean finance team.
In this role, you will run multi-entity group consolidation, international financial reporting, month end reporting, statutory compliance, and tax across our UK, US, French, German and Australian entities. You will ensure robust financial controls, coordinate the annual audit, and partner with local regional specialists to manage our international payroll and tax compliance.

What You'll Do
Group Accounting, Consolidation & Controls
- Multi-Entity Consolidation: Own the month-end and year-end close process, producing accurate consolidated group management accounts across UK, US, and European entities.
- Financial Controls: Ensure strict compliance with accounting standards, maintain the group finance calendar, and continuously refine financial controls as the business scales.
- Audit Leadership: Act as the main point of contact for external auditors, managing the annual audit process and statutory accounts preparation.
- CFO Support: Partner with the CFO by providing accurate consolidated figures and schedules to support executive decision-making.
Tax, Payroll & Compliance
- Tax compliance: Manage UK VAT reviews and declarations, French TVA, German sales tax. Coordinate US tax filings. Execute global transfer pricing agreements.
