Job Overview
Our client is a fast-growing investment holding company that partners with leading independent wealth advisory businesses across South Africa. Through its house-of-brands model, the group provides the capital, governance and shared operational capabilities that allow its portfolio businesses to remain focused on delivering exceptional advice and client service.
They are looking for a Group Information & Technology Enablement Lead to shape and deliver the group's information, digital enablement and technology agenda.
This is a business-facing, highly influential role for someone who understands that technology is not an end in itself, but an enabler of better client service, advisor productivity, regulatory control and scalable operations.
You will take practical ownership of information quality, data governance, business processes, systems, automation, reporting and digital enablement across the group and its portfolio businesses. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and specialist technology, cybersecurity, data and implementation partners to turn business needs into practical, measurable solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious information and digital professional who wants broad exposure across information management, business transformation, data, technology, AI, cybersecurity oversight and executive governance, with a genuine pathway into broader group-level leadership as the organisation grows.
Key Responsibilities
Information & Data Management
- Own and develop the group's information management agenda, including data ownership, quality, governance and accountability.
- Establish practical data governance standards covering definitions, master records, access, retention, lineage and system integration.
- Lead data quality assessment, remediation and ongoing control activities across the portfolio.
- Support POPIA compliance and privacy-by-design practices alongside Compliance and Information Officers.
Business Process & Workflow Optimisation
- Understand end-to-end advice, onboarding, servicing, compliance and operational processes across portfolio businesses.
- Identify inefficiencies, duplication, risk and unnecessary manual processes.
