Developer

Shopify Plus Developer (Remote – US Time Zones)

We are a specialized development agency working exclusively with high-growth eCommerce brands doing 8–9 figures in annual revenue. Our clients don't tolerate mediocrity — and neither do we.

We are hiring a Shopify Plus Developer who can own deliverables end to end, communicate fluently with clients and teams, and perform under real agency pressure. This is not an entry-level role. It is not for developers who need hand-holding, disappear after applying, or overstate their experience on a resume.

If you can't check every box below, please don't apply.

Top Requirement — AI-Assisted Development

This is non-negotiable. We expect our developers to work smarter using modern AI tools.

• Active, daily use of AI coding tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or equivalent)
• Able to demonstrate how AI tools accelerate your Shopify workflow — theme scaffolding, code review, debugging, and documentation
• Uses AI to raise output quality and delivery speed — not as a crutch for gaps in fundamentals
• Keeps up with the evolving AI tooling landscape and adopts new tools proactively

Our Hiring Process Is Thorough — By Design

We verify every candidate before extending any offer. This includes:

• Identity verification — you will be required to confirm your identity with a valid government-issued ID at the offer stage
• LinkedIn profile verification — your profile must be active, consistent with your CV, and reflect real tenure at the companies you list
• Reference checks — we will contact at least one past client or employer directly. References must be reachable and specific about your work

If any part of this makes you uncomfortable, this role is not for you. We do this to protect our clients, our team, and the candidates who represent themselves honestly.

What You Must Be Able to Do

• Build and customize Shopify Plus 2.0 themes from scratch — not just edit existing ones
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, high-performing storefronts
• Explain your technical decisions clearly to clients and project managers in plain English
• Manage code via GitHub in a multi-developer agency environment
• Work US time zones (EST–PST) with fast, consistent communication across Slack, Gmail, and ClickUp

Core Technical Responsibilities

• Code Shopify Plus 2.0 Liquid themes from scratch and using the Dawn base theme
