Market Director

The Mission

Triptease is a disruptive force in the travel industry. We’ve built our reputation helping hotels reclaim guest relationships from the "Big OTA" duopoly. In the current landscape, hoteliers across APAC are seeking smarter, data-driven ways to drive direct revenue and guest loyalty.

With a world-class data set and a suite of cutting-edge digital marketing tools, Triptease is accelerating its impact. We are looking for a high-impact commercial leader to join us as Market Director APAC to own and elevate our presence in the region.

With offices in London, NYC, Barcelona and Singapore, Triptease drives over $1bn in revenue for hoteliers around the globe. As we gear up for our next stage of growth, now is an ideal time to join this fast-growth, well funded, technology business.

The Role: Market Director, APAC

We are looking for a seasoned executive who is a "hunter" by nature and a "consultant" by trade.

As Market Director, APAC, you will be responsible for driving new business growth across the region, building senior relationships with hotel groups and management companies, and developing a strong pipeline across both independent and enterprise hospitality brands.

You’ll combine deep industry knowledge, a strong regional network and consultative selling skills to help hotels understand how Triptease can drive more profitable direct bookings.

Core Responsibilities

• APAC Revenue Growth: Develop and execute a commercial strategy to grow Triptease’s presence and revenue across key APAC markets.
• Strategic Partnerships: Identify, prioritise and close high-value opportunities with hotel groups, management companies and leading independent hotels.
• Strategic Account Development: Own and nurture a defined portfolio of Triptease’s Top 20 strategic accounts across APAC, building relationships and maintaining momentum through long sales cycles to position Triptease to win significant new-logo opportunities.
• Self-Sourced Pipeline Generation: Build and maintain a strong pipeline through your industry network, outbound activity, partnerships and events.
• Industry Advocacy: Represent Triptease confidently on stage at industry events and in senior-level boardroom conversations.
• Sales Excellence: Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through to business case development, commercial negotiation and close.
• Consultative Selling: Understand each hotel’s commercial challenges and build tailored, ROI-led solutions around their direct booking strategy.
• Market Intelligence: Act as a trusted voice internally on APAC market trends, competitor activity and the evolving hotel e-commerce and distribution landscape.

Requirements

• Experience: 7+ years of experience in Hotel Tech, Ad Tech, SaaS or a closely related commercial environment, with a strong track record of winning new business.
• Industry Network: An established network across the APAC hospitality industry, including senior relationships within hotel groups and management companies.
• Commercial Track Record: Demonstrated ability to source, develop and close complex, high-value deals.
• Consultative Approach: Comfortable selling to senior stakeholders by diagnosing business challenges and building a compelling commercial case rather than relying on product-led selling.
• Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of hotel e-commerce, distribution, digital marketing and the broader direct booking landscape.
• Executive Presence: Confident presenting to C-suite stakeholders, leading commercial negotiations and representing Triptease externally.
• Mindset: Self-driven, commercially ambitious and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy.
• Location: Based in a major APAC hub with the ability to travel regularly across the region.

Benefits

• Impact: Your work directly helps hotels survive and thrive against OTAs.
• 20 days holiday plus public holidays and one dedicated volunteer day per year
