Reports to: Kitting Supervisor

About ZendGroup

ZendGroup is on a mission to be the UK’s best eCommerce fulfilment business – and we’re growing fast. We ship thousands of orders every day for exciting brands across health and wellness, sports nutrition, beauty and beyond.

That could be you.

Help Keep Every Kitting Job Accurate and On Track

We’re looking for an organised, detail-focused Kitting Administrator to support our busy warehouse team. You’ll help prepare kitting jobs, check stock and documentation, update our systems and keep work moving smoothly from start to finish.

This is primarily an administration role based in the warehouse, with occasional hands-on support on the kitting line. Previous kitting experience isn’t required – we’ll provide training.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Planning & Job Preparation

•  Review the daily kitting schedule, prepare upcoming jobs and highlight urgent priorities to the supervisor.

•  Check components, quantities, batch numbers and best-before dates against job instructions, and report shortages, damage or discrepancies.

•  Check that each job has an accurate Bill of Materials (BOM); prepare missing information for supervisor approval before production.

•  Prepare and check barcodes, labels, delivery notes and other job paperwork, including a sample kit before production starts.

Administration & System Accuracy

•  Start and update jobs in Zendbox systems, recording quantities, staffing, timings and any interruptions accurately.

•  Maintain job records, line plans and cost-per-unit information, ensuring completed work is correctly documented.

•  Check completed quantities, pallet information and paperwork before handover, and prepare the following day’s work.

Communication & Warehouse Support

•  Work with the Kitting Supervisor, B2B, Customer Experience and Stock Integrity teams to resolve queries and keep jobs on schedule.

•  Help keep the kitting area organised and equipment, labels and consumables ready for use.

•  Provide occasional hands-on support on the kitting line when required, following safety and quality procedures.

Who You’ll Work With

You’ll report to the Kitting Supervisor and work closely with the kitting team, warehouse operations, B2B, Customer Experience and Stock Integrity.

What This Role Isn’t

This is not a people management role. The supervisor retains responsibility for production priorities, approving new or amended BOMs and authorising stock adjustments.

What We’re Looking For

•  Previous experience in a warehouse or administration role is desirable.

•  Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ideally Excel.

•  Strong attention to detail, basic numeracy and accurate record keeping.

•  Good organisation, communication and the ability to manage changing priorities.

•  A reliable, positive approach and willingness to learn.

•  Experience in kitting, stock control, barcode printing or warehouse systems is helpful but not essential.

The Type of Person Who Will Thrive Here

You enjoy keeping things organised, spotting errors before they become problems and helping colleagues get the job done right. You’re comfortable combining desk-based administration with time on the warehouse floor.

Training & Development

Full training will be provided on Zendbox systems, kitting processes, Bills of Materials, barcode and label preparation, and relevant operational procedures.

Shifts

Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 6.00pm.

What You Get

•  Hot drinks provided on shift.

•  Free on-site parking.

•  Social events throughout the year.

•  Mintago retail discounts.

•  Training and development opportunities within operations and supply chain.

Why ZendGroup?

ZendGroup is growing fast, and the people on the floor are the reason we're winning. You'll be part of a team that ships for brands you recognise, in a business that's going places. If you want to grow with us, the pathway is right there.

Career Path & Next Steps

Develop your skills in kitting administration, stock accuracy and operational systems, with potential progression into Senior Administrator, Kitting Team Support, Stock Control or Operations Coordination roles.

Key Measures of Success

•  Accurate kitting paperwork and job records.

•  Timely system updates and preparation of upcoming jobs.

•  Early identification and escalation of component discrepancies.

•  Completion of administration tasks to agreed deadlines.
