Job Summary: 
Loenbro is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our engineering team. The Industrial Coatings Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing industrial coating projects from initial customer requirements through project completion. This role provides technical expertise in protective coating, surface preparation, corrosion control, and application methods while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.

Duties/Responsibilities (Essential Functions): 

Project Management

• Manage industrial coating projects throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate activities between customers, contractors, operations, suppliers, and quality teams.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Technical Engineering Support

• Evaluate coating requirements based on environmental conditions, substrates, and customer specifications.
• Recommend coating systems for corrosion protection, chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, and aesthetic requirements.
