Account Manager

Mentimeter is an engagement company with a simple goal: to make every leader better. Through interaction, insights and recommendations, its platform helps organizations turn participation into better understanding and stronger performance.

Founded in Stockholm in 2012, Mentimeter is used by 20 million people each month across 1.3 million organizations. At Mentimeter, we believe better leadership starts with listening and that the strongest results are achieved together. That’s why we foster a culture built on curiosity, collaboration and shared ownership. By joining us, you’ll help leaders turn participation into deeper understanding and stronger performance, advancing our ambition to help more than one billion people listen, learn and work better together.

As an Account Manager, you will own the commercial growth of a portfolio of existing Enterprise customers.

This is a commercial, quota-carrying growth role. You’ll drive expansion by identifying new opportunities, building pipeline, growing Mentimeter into new teams and use cases, and owning renewals.

Strong customer relationships are key to succeeding, but this isn’t about simply managing an existing book of business. We’re looking for someone proactive and commercially driven - someone who gets energy from finding the next opportunity and turning customer value into growth.

You’ll have a lot of ownership over how you reach your goals, while partnering closely with Customer Success Managers who focus on helping customers realize value from Mentimeter.

Responsibilities for the role:

• Own the commercial performance of your Enterprise customer portfolio, including expansion and renewals
• Proactively identify and create upsell and expansion opportunities
• Build and manage a healthy pipeline and deliver against your commercial targets
• Expand relationships into new stakeholders, teams and use cases
• Build long-term customer relationships while maintaining a clear commercial agenda
• Use data and customer insights to prioritize opportunities and manage commercial risks
• Collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers to drive customer value, retention and growth

**What will help you succeed
**We think you’ll thrive here if you:

• Have previous SaaS sales experience and experience working towards commercial targets
• Enjoy creating opportunities and building pipeline, not only managing existing relationships
• Have strong discovery, negotiation, pipeline management, and forecasting skills
• Know how to navigate customer organizations and engage multiple stakeholders
• Are familiar with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC/MEDPIC, SPIN, BANT, Challenger or similar
• Are comfortable managing multiple customers and prioritizing where you can create the most impact
• Communicate clearly and confidently in English

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is hungry and humble: ambitious about what you want to achieve and how you want to grow, while being collaborative, curious and generous with the people around you.

What Mentimeter can offer:

Mentimeter is growing, and we have ambitious goals for where we want to go next. You’ll work alongside smart, motivated people who care deeply about what they do, with meaningful ownership and plenty of opportunity to grow your career as the company grows.

We’re ambitious, but ambition here doesn’t mean sharp elbows. We want people to challenge themselves, take ownership and keep raising the bar while remaining kind, curious and collaborative. We also believe in sustainable performance and a healthy work-life balance. We want you to be able to do great work, keep developing and build a career here for the long term.

You’ll be working on a beloved product used by more than 500 million people, supported by Marketing, Product, Sales Development and Sales Operations teams, as well as professional CRM and data tools

Not required:

• You don’t have to know Swedish (we are an English-first organization, daily work is carried out in English and the Mentimeter team currently boasts over 50 different nationalities!)

Please note that this position is located onsite in Stockholm, with the starting date being flexible yet ideally as soon as possible.

AI and Hiring at Mentimeter
At Mentimeter, we believe AI helps us work smarter - but it never replaces the human assessment, curiosity, and personal connection that define our culture and our hiring. We use AI as a sparring partner: to bounce ideas, bring new perspectives, support structure, and make our work more efficient. But the meaning, decisions, and interactions always come from people. AI strengthens our work, but it does not define it. At Mentimeter, we’re not building an AI-driven hiring process - we’re building a people-first culture, where technology helps us listen, learn, and grow together.

**Culture at Mentimeter
**At Mentimeter we believe in giving everyone a voice - regardless of who you are. So we build a platform that does just that. Our platform is not only our product but also our organization. A platform where people feel safe, where differences are embraced, a place where you can have fun. We strongly encourage applicants who are people of color, LGBTQ+, women, people with disabilities, and/or formerly incarcerated people, and a college degree is not strictly required. In order to give everyone a voice, we need to be as diverse as our users.
