This role supports operations and event production within the EMEA time zone and requires minimal supervision, deep technical expertise, and proactive leadership.
What You’ll Do

- Act as Technical Director, Lead Video Engineer, or Technical Production Manager depending on event scope.
- Attend and contribute to pre-show production meetings, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities.
- Use and follow run-of-show documentation to guide technical execution and show flow.
- Test all playback elements and ensure readiness of switchers, graphics, mixers, microphones, and other gear.
- Reset event spaces post-production to pre-event standards.
- Serve as the escalation point for unresolved AV issues from lower tiers.
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise in one or more AV domains (audio, video, lighting, stage, broadcast).
- Lead planning and pre-production calls for Tier 2 events; assist or lead pre-production tasks for Tier 1 events.
- Provide AV operational support in customer offices, including content display, signal routing, recording, and live streaming.
- Troubleshoot sophisticated AV systems and provide solutions; escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
- Conduct daily technical checks and proactive maintenance of AV equipment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand event requirements and provide technical guidance.
- Manage AV-related ticketing systems and document workflows and SOPs.
