- Plan and execute internal events, offsites, and team celebrations, coordinating logistics, catering, and vendors.
- Own and improve internal operational processes and tools (e.g., expense management, equipment provisioning, office systems), identifying opportunities to increase efficiency as the company scales.
- Support new hire onboarding logistics, including workspace setup, equipment procurement, and first-week office experience.
- Partner with People/HR on office policies, employee experience initiatives, and culture-building activities.
- Partner with Finance on office-related budgeting, vendor invoicing, and expense tracking.
- Coordinate with IT on office technology needs, including equipment ordering, setup, and troubleshooting basic issues.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for office-related questions and issues from employees and visitors.
- Lead or support cross-functional operational projects as needed, from process documentation to ad hoc initiatives requested by leadership.
- Ensure the office is a safe, welcoming, and well-run environment, including managing security/access procedures for the space.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in office management, operations, or a related generalist role, ideally at a startup or fast-growing company.
- Strong organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects and vendors simultaneously without dropping details.
- Comfortable negotiating with and managing vendors, contractors, and building management.
- Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented mindset, with the ability to work well with employees and leadership at all levels.
