Branch Manager

Powered by Service. Driven by People.

At Total Rentals, we’re more than just an equipment rental company, we’re a team of hard-working problem-solvers committed to keeping our customers moving. From construction sites to industrial operations, our crews deliver the gear, the service, and the know-how to get the job done right. We believe in taking care of our team the same way we take care of our customers: with reliability, respect, and pride in every interaction.

As the Branch Manager for Total Rental Center, you’ll lead the day-to-day operations of the branch while overseeing employees, customer service, inventory, safety, and financial performance. You’ll work closely with the team to keep operations running efficiently, develop employees, respond to customer needs, and ensure the branch meets its business goals.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands how operational decisions affect profitability, customer relationships, and the employee experience.

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily branch operations and oversee rental, parts, and equipment staff
• Set expectations, delegate responsibilities, and coach employees to support performance and development
• Review financial statements, manage the branch P&L, and identify opportunities to improve profitability
• Monitor operational performance and communicate results and priorities to the branch team
• Manage equipment, parts, and rental inventory based on customer demand and business needs
• Forecast inventory requirements to maintain appropriate availability while controlling excess inventory
• Conduct branch audits and inventory reviews and ensure corrective actions are completed

• Promote and enforce company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards
• Maintain a safe, clean, fair, and productive work environment
• Encourage teamwork within the branch and across the organization
• Use Point of Rental or similar inventory and business management systems to support branch operations

Why You’ll Be Successful

You’re a practical, hands-on leader who takes ownership of results and follows through on commitments. You’re comfortable moving between employee leadership, customer concerns, financial performance, and operational priorities throughout the day.

You use data to make decisions, communicate expectations clearly, and address issues before they grow. You care about developing employees, building strong customer relationships, and creating a branch environment where safety, accountability, and teamwork are part of the daily operation.
