As an Associate Software Engineer at impact.com, you will be a key contributor to one of our agile engineering squads, helping to develop, test, and maintain the software that powers our industry-leading platform. In this role, you will focus on delivering high-quality code, building meaningful tests, and collaborating with a distributed team to achieve our quarterly objectives.
We are looking for a motivated and curious engineer who is eager to grow their skills. You will have the opportunity to work with Java, Spring, and other modern technologies, gaining practical exposure to cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines. This role is perfect for a team player who is comfortable asking "why" to understand the business impact of their work and is passionate about solving complex problems.
What You'll Do:
- Develop & Maintain: Write clean, maintainable code for the impact.com platform, working both independently and while pair programming with senior engineers.
- Build & Test: Create meaningful unit, functional, and integration tests to ensure the quality and reliability of your software. You’ll also assist our QA team with testing in staging environments and fixing broken builds.
- Collaborate & Deliver: Actively participate in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating with a distributed team of engineers, product managers, and designers to fulfill the squad's quarterly objectives.
